STORY THREAD TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE
There is a thread woven through every life—a longing, a question, a quiet knowing that there is more. This is not just a story… it’s your story. And it leads to the greatest truth ever given.
Let’s walk it together.
The Beginning: You Were Created with Purpose
Before anything else, know this—you were not an accident. You were created on purpose, for a purpose, by a God who sees you, knows you, and loves you deeply.
But sin entered the world creating a gap between us and God.
The Problem: Sin Separated Us
The Bible tells us plainly:
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23
Every single one of us has missed the mark. Sin isn’t just the “big” things—it’s every thought, word, and action that falls short of God’s perfect standard.
And sin has a cost.
“For the wages of sin is death…” — Romans 6:23a
That death is not just physical—it’s spiritual separation from God.
The Truth: You Can’t Fix It Yourself
No amount of good works, kindness, or effort can erase sin. We cannot earn our way back to God.
But here’s where the story changes.
The Hope: God Made a Way
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
God didn’t wait for you to get it together. He stepped into your brokenness.
Jesus Christ—God’s Son—came to earth, lived a perfect life, and willingly died on the cross to take the punishment for your sin.
And He didn’t stay in the grave.
He rose again—defeating sin and death once and for all.
The Invitation: A Gift You Must Receive
Salvation is not earned—it’s given...it is a gift
“…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” — Romans 6:23b
A gift must be received.
The Response: Believe and Confess
This is where your story thread becomes personal.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” — Romans 10:9
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Romans 10:13
Not “might be.” Not “hope so.”
YOU...Shall be saved!
The Moment: Your Yes to God
Right now, wherever you are, you can respond.
It’s not about perfect words—it’s about a surrendered heart.
You can pray something like this:
“Jesus, I know I have sinned and I cannot save myself. I believe You died for me and rose again. I ask You to forgive me, come into my life, and be my Lord and Savior. I give You my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
The Promise: A New Life Begins
If you meant that, your story has changed.
You are forgiven.
You are made new.
You are no longer separated—you are restored.
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” — Romans 5:1
The Thread Continues
This is not the end—it’s the beginning.
Stay in God’s Word.
Talk to Him daily.
Find a Bible-believing church.
And let your life become a thread of truth that leads others to Him.
Because it only takes one thread of truth to change a life…
and that thread has now been placed in your hands.
